What is ProxLB?
ProxLB is an open-source load balancer for Proxmox VE clusters. It helps you automatically distribute virtual machines and containers across your cluster nodes to achieve optimal resource utilization.
Why ProxLB?
Managing a Proxmox VE cluster can be challenging, especially when it comes to keeping resources balanced across nodes. ProxLB solves this by:
- Automatically analyzing resource usage across all nodes
- Intelligently migrating VMs to less loaded nodes
- Supporting affinity rules to keep related workloads together or apart
- Providing dry-run mode to preview changes before applying them
